Of the 1,41,872 seats available across various courses, 1,22,512 have been allotted in the first round. Candidates who have been allotted seats must complete choice selection, fee payment and reporting to their respective colleges by July 24.FlexibilityKEA has introduced a major change by allowing candidates to modify their choice options within the stipulated deadline. Candidates can switch between Choice-2, Choice-3 and Choice-4 before the deadline. Even those who initially selected Choice-4 can re-enter the counselling process by changing their option. However, candidates who have chosen Choice-1, paid the admission fee and reported to their allotted college will not be allowed to change their option.Medical admissionsCandidates awaiting admission to Medical, Dental, AYUSH and other NEET-based courses have been advised to opt for Choice-2 if they have been allotted a seat in another course. Fresh option entry for medical courses will commence after the release of the NEET results and seat matrix.Sports quotaSeat allotment under the sports quota has not been carried out in the first round due to a delay in receiving the eligible candidates’ list from the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports.
