5.52 lakh SIR enumeration forms digitised in Chamarajanagar - The HinduPublished - July 16, 2026 08:12 pm IST - MYSURUBLOs have completed the door-to-door distribution of enumeration forms to all 8,80,224 registered voters in the district. | Photo Credit: File photoThe Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls is progressing steadily in Chamarajanagar district, with 5,52,567 enumeration forms digitised so far, according to the district administration.Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have completed the door-to-door distribution of enumeration forms to all 8,80,224 registered voters in the district. The exercise is being carried out by 983 BLOs.Constituency-wise progressIn Hanur Assembly constituency, all 2,24,616 voters have been issued enumeration forms by 254 BLOs, with 1,41,209 forms digitised so far. In Kollegal Assembly constituency, 241 BLOs have distributed forms to all 2,21,151 voters, of which 1,41,153 forms have been digitised. In Chamarajanagar Assembly constituency, 239 BLOs have covered all 2,17,852 voters, with 1,34,872 forms digitised. In Gundlupet Assembly constituency, 249 BLOs have distributed forms to all 2,16,605 voters, of which 1,35,333 forms have been digitised, a release said.The district administration has also identified 24,163 voters requiring further verification due to absence, migration, death or duplicate registration.
