Seven Indian flagged vessels are operating safely in the Persian Gulf as per schedule. These ships are not carrying oil, gas, or fertilizers destined for India. About 148 seafarers are onboard these Indian flagged vessels with supplies provided. One Indian seafarer was missing after an attack on a Cyprus flagged ship. Vessels are exercising caution and alternative routes are becoming the norm.
