Personnel reached the school within five minutes. During the inquiry, a classmate informed teachers that the boys had planned to travel to Delhi for cricket training.The police contacted the parents, who confirmed that the children had left home for school but never arrived. Based on information that one of the boys was carrying a mobile phone, officers tracked the device’s location to KSR Bengaluru (Majestic) Railway Station. In coordination with the Railway Protection Force (RPF), the police located and rescued all six children before they could leave the city.The children were taken to a Child Care Centre for counselling and legal formalities before being safely reunited with their parents.In a separate incident later the same day, at around 5:11 pm, a passer-by noticed a young boy standing alone in a confused state near D-Mart, Electronic City, and alerted the Namma 112 helpline. Personnel reached the spot and after speaking with the child, the officers established his identity and confirmed that his parents lived in Hongasandra. The child was taken to the police station, where officers traced and contacted his parents. After completing verification procedures, the boy was safely reunited with his family.Published - July 14, 2026 12:23 am ISTSign in to unlock member-only benefits!Access 10 free stories every monthSave stories to read laterAccess to comment on every storySign-up/manage your newsletter subscriptions with a single clickGet notified by email for early access to discounts & offers on our products${ ind + 1 } ${ device }Last active - ${ la }
