Authorities also issued 14 enforcement notices as part of the crackdown. The MTA also blacklisted six properties following the findings, while a further six were identified as operating without the required licence.Sharing the results, Minister Abela said the operation reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening standards and ensuring that all tourism operators comply with the necessary regulations. The government said the findings demonstrate its determination to strengthen governance within Malta’s tourism sector and ensure that all operators are held to the same standards.“The quality and reputation of Malta’s tourism industry depend on how seriously these regulations are enforced,” the government said, warning that anyone choosing to operate outside the law should expect “immediate and decisive action.”What do you make of this?•
