കൊല്ലം കുളത്തൂപ്പുഴ ചിറ്റാർ പാലത്തിനു സമീപം ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ നിലയിൽ പിടിയാനയെ കണ്ടെത്തി. ചിറ്റാർ പാലത്തിന് സമീപം കൽച്ചിറ ഭാഗത്താണ് കാട്ടാന എത്തിയത്. കാട്ടാനയുടെ പിൻവശത്തെ വലതുകാലിലാണ് പരുക്ക്.വേദനകൊണ്ട് കാൽ നിലത്ത് ഉറപ്പിക്കാൻ പോലും കഴിയാതെ അവസ്ഥയിലാണ് കാട്ടാന. നടക്കുമ്പോൾ ആറ്റിൽ വീണ് പോയ കാട്ടാനയെ ഒപ്പം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന കാട്ടാന തുമ്പികൈ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഉയർത്തുന്ന ദൃശ്യങ്ങളും പുറത്തുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്.ENGLISH SUMMARY : A female wild elephant was found critically injured near the Chittar Bridge in Kulathupuzha, Kollam.
