Samsung could announce two new smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, later this month. Besides new health, fitness, and wellness features, these upcoming Galaxy Watches could also bring connectivity upgrades. A new report also reveals their pricing for the European market.According to a report from WinFuture, the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will feature Bluetooth 6.0 for improved connectivity. While the report also claims they support dual-band Wi-Fi, it is unclear whether the upcoming smartwatches use the same Wi-Fi 5 standard as their predecessors or a newer standard such as Wi-Fi 6. They also feature NFC for contactless payments.According to the report, all these connectivity features are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chip. Both the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 are expected to use Qualcomm’s new processor instead of Samsung’s Exynos W1000. The Galaxy Watch 9 is expected to come with 32GB of storage, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 reportedly offers 64GB. Both smartwatches feature 2GB of RAM.The 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch 9 is expected to feature a 325mAh battery, while the 44mm model could use a 445mAh battery.
