My sister and her husband asked for a Kitchen Aid mixer for their wedding (they got married a year ago April) and our aunt bought it for them. They did not expect to be gifted it, but our aunt is very kind and generous. Had they not received it they certainly would not have made a post on social media begging for one. (They also could probably afford it themselves but that’s besides the point)
