Australia-based retailFX and CFDs broker Eightcap has appointed Will Hardy as Executive Director ofits UK entity, Eightcap Group Ltd, according to the UK Financial ConductAuthority register.The appointmentfollows a series of recent leadership changes at the broker. BrynNewell became Chief Executive Officer of Melbourne-headquartered Eightcap,succeeding AlexHoward, who had led the company for more than two and a half years.Those changes alsoincluded the departure of Eightcap UK's Chief Executive Officer, OllieRosewell, after about eight months in the role.Eightcap Appoints Industry Veteran WillHardyHardy has more than 35years of experience in financial markets. In his LinkedIn profile, he says hehas worked "mainly in derivatives," including "exchange tradedfutures and multi asset OTC" covering CFDs, Spread Betting, FX, Crypto. He addedthat he has worked with "a variety of brokers, from big internationalhouses to bootstrapping start ups," serving both institutional and retailclients.Before joiningEightcap, Hardy spent about one year as Head of Partners for Europe, the MiddleEast and Africa at Trade Nation.Earlier, he spentabout one year and four months as Global Head of Commercial Operations and Headof UK Sales and Support at Zenfinex.
