During the event, certificates and appointment letters were awarded to 1,044 youths who had undergone training at Sun Foundation’s skill centers across Punjab. He highlighted that the Sun Foundation currently trains over 5,000 youths annually across Punjab through its network of ‘Multi-Skill Development Centers,’ providing industry-aligned and future-ready training under the ‘Skills for Jobs’ initiative. He further noted that thousands of youths trained at Sun Foundation centers have secured employment with major companies such as Indigo Airlines, Taj Hotels, Marriott, Radisson, Shahi Exports, and Avon Cycles, as well as numerous reputed firms in the manufacturing, healthcare, and service sectors.Dr. Sahni remarked that the Sun Foundation is successfully bridging the gap between industry requirements and the aspirations of the youth by designing courses based on market demand and ensuring opportunities for dignified employment.
