Wendy’s and Sega announced that there will be a Sonic the Hedgehog trading card kids’ meal in the US, and it is available immediately. This follows a similar promotion that started in the UK back in June 2026. Each prize will be available in one of the $4.69-$6.49 meals for children. (Note that these are original cards and not connected to, say, the Top Trumps or Sonic Speed Battleones.) How it works is there are seven different Sonic the Hedgehog series trading card cases with five cards in each one. If you get each toy, you will end up with the full set of 35. Each box features a character holding one of the Chaos Emeralds on it. The options are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Shadow, Rouge, and Silver. There is also a Minions & Monsters movie tie-in meal for adults available at the moment. This isn’t the only Wendy’s promotion with a video game coming up in the next few weeks. In Japan, the restaurant will feature a Zenless Zone Zero collaboration. That will involve the characters Ellen Joe and Manato. The Sonic the Hedgehog trading cards are now available as a prize in Wendy’s kids’ meal toys in the US. They are also expected to be available as a prize in the UK until August 2, 2026.
