Rising singer Laty Wizy has expressed his frustration with Uganda’s music industry, accusing some artists of failing to give credit where it is due.He stressed that the culture has discouraged him from working with fellow musicians.According to the singer, many artists develop negative attitudes toward anyone who speaks out about such issues, making it difficult for creatives to defend their work.One thing I dislike about artists is that they don’t want to give fellow artists credit where it’s due. When you speak out, they start developing attitudes, and some even end up hating you.Laty Wizy went on to recount an incident from last year involving the song “No One Nobody.” He claimed the project was originally his before it ended up being recorded by Sheebah and Jowy Landa.The singer said he had already recorded the track and even invested in shooting its music video before losing control of the project.Let me give you one saga I was involved in. There was a song that came out last year, and it was literally my song. Somebody gave it to Sheebah, and another person gave it to Jowy Landa, yet it was originally mine.
