Kaitlyn Tracey (Credit: Ocean County Jail)A woman from north of the border suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome recently took her anger out on an innocent girl in New Jersey who was expressing her love for our president.As News 12 New Jersey reported, 33-year-old Kaitlyn Tracey, a Canadian native living in Allenhurst, assaulted a teenage girl just because she supported Trump.Per multiple reports, Tracey hit the girl twice with an open hand after seeing her “patriotic colored sweatpants” that had the words “Trump” and “ICE.”The incident occurred on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk on Friday, July 3.From the Asbury Park Press:According to court records, Tracey was on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk on July 3 when the teenage victim, whose name was not released, was walking on the boardwalk with three of her friends. Tracey began repeatedly yelling at the teenagers over patriotic-colored sweatpants, which had the words “Trump” and “ICE” written on them, that two of the teenagers were wearing, according to the affidavit of probable cause.Tracey “verbally berated” the teenagers and kept approaching, harassing, and yelling at the teenagers over their clothing, the victim told police, according to court documents. Tracey then struck the victim twice — once on her body and once in the face — before walking off, authorities said. Point Pleasant Beach police officers tried to stop her, but she refused to do so, records show.Police said they verified the incident through the use of surveillance camera footage. Authorities were able to identify Tracey through social media posts, as well as her passport information that she provided to federal customs and border protection officers when she entered the United States in 2024.Tracey has been charged with simple assault, endangering the welfare of a child, harassment, and obstruction.Tracey turned herself in during the morning of July 13 and was taken into custody without incident at police headquarters.
