SPX | S&P 500 vs M2 | An Interesting SimilaritySPX/WM2NSSPCFD:SPX/FRED:WM2NSmrvitz78This is just a simple observation I wanted to share. The S&P 500 (adjusted by M2 Money Supply) has now reached almost the same zone where it topped back in 2000, around 26 years ago. After the Dot-com Bubble, the market declined for almost 9 years. The idea of using SPX/M2NS came from Benjamin Cowen, and I found it very interesting. Adjusting the S&P 500 by the M2 Money Supply gives a different perspective on how the market is performing. I added my own analysis to the chart. The vertical lines highlight the important dates, and the projected timeline is only an approximation based on the 2000 market cycle. Of course, nothing is guaranteed, and everything can change. I'm not trying to create fear or panic. I simply think that when a chart shows something interesting, it's worth paying attention to. From my own experience, every time I ignored what my own charts were telling me, I ended up making the wrong decision. That's why I prefer to trust my own analysis, even if the market eventually proves me wrong. This is simply an observation, combined with my own analysis and a few reference points. I hope it helps someone see the market from a different perspective. Good luck everyone! 🍀📈
