The 74-year-old man who tragically lost his life in an accident in Dingli on Friday has been identified as Vincent Borg from Mellieħa.The fatal incident happened at around 10am in Sqaq Kalkara, where preliminary police investigations found that the back metal door of a truck fell on Borg, pinning him against the bucket of a heavy machinery vehicle while he was working in a field.Sadly, he was certified dead at the scene.Magistrate Monica Borg Galea has opened an inquiry, while police investigations into the incident are ongoing.Lovin Malta extends its condolences to Vincent Borg’s family and loved ones.•
