Malta’s dining scene is about to get a bold new addition.TANVI, a contemporary Indian restaurant by Lifestyle Group, is set to open this summer in St George’s Bay, bringing modern Indian flavours, signature cocktails and interactive dining experiences to the waterfront.Developed in collaboration with Kricket co-founders Will Bowlby and Rik Campbell, TANVI will offer a fresh take on Indian cuisine, serving up sharing plates inspired by traditional recipes with a contemporary twist. The menu is packed with standout dishes, including Pani Puri with amberjack, green apple and tamarind, Mahi Mahi Hariyali Tikka, and a Rabbit Keema Samosa, a nod to Malta’s national dish. Diners can also expect desserts like fresh mango with chilli syrup, Bhappa Doi and a selection of kulfi. One of the restaurant’s biggest attractions will be its tableside chaat trolley, allowing guests to build their own chaat for an interactive dining experience rarely seen in Malta.Cocktails will be just as important as the food, with a drinks menu featuring botanical-forward creations inspired by Indian spices and flavours. The 150-seat venue will feature both indoor and outdoor dining overlooking St George’s Bay, an open kitchen and a dedicated cocktail bar. The concept is inspired by the story of two sisters, blending refined dining with a more vibrant lounge atmosphere.“TANVI reflects our ambition to continue introducing concepts that bring something genuinely new to Malta’s dining scene,” said Lifestyle Group CEO Robert DeBono. The restaurant forms part of Lifestyle Group’s major St George’s Bay development, which will also introduce six other hospitality concepts, including internationally recognised names Bagatelle, TATEL and Paradiso.Share with someone who loves Indian food!•
