TITLE: I built a peptide research site that doesn't sell peptides. Would love feedback

Wait 5 sec.

I kept looking up peptides (BPC-157, retatrutide, KLOW) and hitting the same wall: page one is vendors, and the "review" sites all have coupon codes. Every summary was written by someone who gets paid when you buy. So I spent the last few months building **Grounded** (groundedpeptides.com). It has no store, no affiliate links and no "trusted vendor" list, so there's nothing to sell you. **What it does** - **81 compound profiles**: mechanism, half-life, side effects, and an honest research status (approved, in trials, or animal studies only). Brand names work too: search Ozempic and you land on semaglutide. - **A research feed that updates every night** from PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov and Europe PMC. It only keeps papers that actually name a compound, so it isn't keyword spam. - **Email alerts** when a new study mentions a compound you follow. - **An AI guide** that explains any study at three levels: simple, standard or technical. You can also ask it "how strong is this evidence?" **The thing that surprised me most** How thin the evidence is behind the most-hyped stuff. BPC-157 is everywhere, but its human data is basically one 16-person retrospective knee study plus a lot of rat work. Popular blends like KLOW have never been studied as a combination at all. Vendor sites don't mention that. Grounded puts it at the top of every profile. **Stack**, for the builders: static site on GitHub Pages, Supabase (auth, Postgres, edge functions, pg_cron for the nightly scrape), Claude for the AI and paper summaries, Resend for email. It's free right now while I learn what people actually use. **I'd really like to know:** Would you trust this over a vendor's blog? What would change your mind either way? What's the first compound you'd look up, and does the profile answer what you wanted to know? What's missing that would make you come back weekly? Tear it apart, I'd rather hear it now. submitted by /u/Individual-Type3070 [link] [comments]
