Stocks Extend Gains; Can Dollar Take a Pause?U.S. Dollar Currency IndexTVC:DXYew-forecastGood morning everyone. Markets have not changed dramatically since yesterday. In fact, it has been like that since Friday, when stocks recovered following weaker-than-expected US jobs data, which pushed Fed rate hike expectations back a little bit. What we are seeing right now is a nice continuation higher, especially in the technology sector, with Nasdaq 100 trading at new highs, while the S&P 500 is also pushing nicely higher but is still below its August highs. So it looks like there is room for more risk-on sentiment in the near term. At the same time, the dollar is still consolidating here, and we certainly think that some pullback could make sense, but for now we are still not seeing any clear reversal. However, we may expect a wave four retracement at some point in the next few days. Of course, calling the highs is not something I want to do here, as price can always rise a bit further. But once we see a pullback in wave four, ideally back towards the area of the previous wave four around 101.42, then I would be looking for new stabilization and another turn higher. Grega
