The Supreme Court has requested the Centre to clarify the relocation details of the Central Secretariat Library. This library, containing over 8.5 lakh books, is currently at risk of losing its space. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs previously allocated insufficient space for the library in the new Central Vista Plan. An affidavit is required to provide a detailed layout of the library's future location.
