England made it three wins on the bounce as they rounded off the international break with a dominant 3-0 win over Czechia. On a night where Harry Kane equalled Peter Shilton’s record of 125 Three Lions caps, the captain marked the occasion with two goals to inspire his team to victory in the last of their four Nations League games.Kane made it six goals from four games in this international break on a memorable night at WembleyGettyReturning to Wembley after their 7-0 thumping of Croatia, Thomas Tuchel’s side were looking to put in another strong display. And they did just that against Czechia, as England took the lead after 27 minutes when ex-West Ham defender Vladimir Coufal turned Kane’s dangerous cross into his own net. From then on, the home side looked a threat on every attack with Kane dropping deep to start moves with some pinpoint passing. And on 40 minutes, the Three Lions’ talisman got the goal his performance deserved as he finished off a brilliant team move by tapping home Morgan Rogers’ sublime first-time cross.Kane’s 90th England goal was also his fifth of the international break, and it wasn’t long before he extended his tally to six.In an equally dominant second half, Kane grabbed his second goal on 57 minutes when he rose highest to head home Lewis Hall‘s corner. This sealed a result which sees England end the extended international break with three wins from four – claiming victory in each of their last three outings after losing the first to Spain. After another strong showing, you can read all of talkSPORT’s Adrian Durham’s Three Lions player ratings LionsGettyKane praise on historic nightIt was always going to be a memorable night for Kane as he made his record-equalling 125th international appearance, and the England captain delivered a virtuoso display to go with it.As well as two well-taken goals, the Ballon d’Or candidate showcased all of his playmaking abilities by dropping deep and picking out his teammates with a number of incisive crossfield balls. And Durham was full of praise for England’s all-time record goalscorer as he wrote his name into the history books again.“Absolutely stunning yet again, as he equalled Peter Shilton’s England caps record,” was the talkSPORT commentator’s assessment.Pickford concernDespite a clean sheet in the comfortable victory, Jordan Pickford‘s display did little to convince Durham he should remain England’s No.1.After returning between the sticks in England’s thrashing of Croatia having been dropped for James Trafford in their first two games, the Everton stopper was shaky in the early stages tonight.Pickford almost got caught in possession twice in the opening 20 minutes, but came away unscathed on both occasions.Durham gave him a 6/10 rating – the joint-lowest of England’s players – and said: “Too many wobbly moments but another clean sheet.”Jordan Pickford failed to convince Durham despite having little to do against CzechiaGettyMore to come from MLS?After dropping to the bench against Croatia, Myles Lewis-Skelly returned to the starting XI against Czechia with a fine display. And Durham has handed the Arsenal youngster an 8/10, praising him for a moment of sublime skill early on in the second half which ended in Kane crashing the crossbar. He said: “Incredible moment in the second half when he fooled one Czech player with a trick, nutmegged another and got us going forward with a move that led to Kane hitting the bar.”Durham also piled praise on manager Tuchel, hailing the England boss for rotating his players and building a squad with real chemistry. He concluded: “Changed things up and got it right again, he’s creating harmony in the squad as well.”Myles Lewis-Skelly impressed with his ability on the ball as he started in his third match of the
