A celebrity narrator leads the performance and brings a different personality to the story. That narrator lineup changes every year, giving returning guests a reason to experience the show again. For 2026, Disney has added several newcomers, and two of the biggest additions are now Josh Groban and Benjamin Bratt.Josh Groban and Benjamin Bratt Join EPCOT TraditionBenjamin Bratt will make his Candlelight Processional debut on December 2 and 3.Bratt has built a lengthy acting career across television and film, but Disney fans may particularly recognize his voice. He played Ernesto de la Cruz in Pixar’s Coco (2017).Josh Groban will follow later in the month, making his Candlelight Processional debut on December 13 and 14.Groban’s addition is particularly fitting for a show built so heavily around music. The singer has spent decades performing everything from pop and classical crossover music to Broadway material and holiday songs.Disney specifically lists both Bratt and Groban as new narrators for the 2026 season. They join several other first-time narrators this year, including Robin Roberts, Jason Kelce, and Lacey Chabert. At the same time, Disney isn’t abandoning the familiar faces who have become closely associated with the event.Credit: DisneySeveral Familiar Candlelight Processional Narrators Are Coming BackThe 2026 lineup mixes newcomers with a number of returning celebrities.Gary Sinise will narrate from November 29 through December 1, followed by Bratt on December 2 and 3. Whoopi Goldberg takes over on December 4 and 5 before Robin Roberts arrives December 6 and 7.Jason Kelce will narrate on December 8 and 9, while Neil Patrick Harris returns for December 10 through 12.After Groban’s December 13 and 14 appearances, Lauren Daigle will narrate on December 15 and 16. Ralph Macchio follows from December 17 through 19, with Henry Winkler appearing December 20 and 21.Lacey Chabert takes the stage December 22 and 23. Jodi Benson will narrate on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, followed by Simu Liu on December 26 and 27. Eva Longoria closes out the currently announced schedule from December 28 through 30.There is still one noticeable hole in the schedule.Disney has not yet announced the narrator or narrators for November 27 and 28, meaning at least one more update to the lineup should be coming.Guests Get Three Chances to See the Show Each NightThe Candlelight Processional will once again take place at the America Gardens Theatre in EPCOT.Disney has scheduled three performances each night at 4:45 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8 p.m.Having three performances gives guests some flexibility, but getting a seat can still require planning. Popular narrators can draw significant crowds, particularly around Christmas and other busy holiday dates.Disney notes that regular seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis and can fill quickly. Guests who want a more predictable option can purchase a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. Those packages combine a meal at a participating EPCOT restaurant with reserved seating for a designated Candlelight Processional performance. For 2026, Disney says dining package reservations will open October 14. The packages include a meal and reserved seating, although Disney still recommends arriving early for a better choice of seats within the reserved section.Credit: Jeff Kern, FlickrEPCOT’s Holiday Tradition Keeps EvolvingEPCOT has changed dramatically over the years, but the Candlelight Processional has managed to remain an important part of the park’s holiday season. The basic formula isn’t being reinvented in 2026. Guests will still find the orchestra, choir, Voices of Liberty, celebrity narrator, and familiar Christmas story at the center of the experience.Instead, Disney keeps the tradition fresh by changing the personalities taking the stage.Josh Groban and Benjamin Bratt now become part of that history, joining a 2026 lineup that also brings several other newcomers alongside returning favorites. And Disney isn’t quite finished yet. With the November 27 and 28 narrator slots still listed as “To Be Announced,” another Candlelight Processional announcement remains on the way before EPCOT’s holiday celebration begins. The post Disney Confirms EPCOT’s 32-Year-Old Holiday Attraction Will Change in 2026 appeared first on Inside the Magic.
