Tottenham’s international stars will start trickling back to Hotspur Way for training over the next few days, as Roberto De Zerbi’s men intensify preparations for the resumption of the Premier League.Eight Spurs first-team stars have been training at Hotspur Way for the last week, with the group consisting of all of Tottenham’s fit non-internationals and Mohammed Kudus, who withdrew from the Ghana squad. The group includes the likes of James Maddison, Dominic Solanke, Dejan Kulusevski and Destiny Udogie, for whom the elongated break has proved crucial in their efforts to work their way up to full fitness. That group is about to get bigger and bigger over the next four days as Tottenham players return from various corners of the world.Credit: @thatfootballphotog / InstagramThe return schedule of Tottenham’s internationals from Monday to ThursdayFootball.London have revealed that the first group of international players will return on Monday and Tuesday. That group consists of Omar Marmoush, Ben Davies and Micky van de Ven, who played their last international on Sunday.Marmoush may take a little longer to return than the Welshman and the Dutchman since he has a longer journey back. The next group, which consists of Luca Williams-Barnett, Lucas Bergvall and Sandro Tonali, are in action this evening. They will thus return either tomorrow or Wednesday. The final group, consisting of Rodrigo Bentancur, Mateus Fernandes, Archie Gray, Mathys Tel, Martin Dubravka, Antonin Kinsky and Andy Robertson, are all in action on Tuesday evening. They will return on Wednesday and Thursday, with Gray, Kinsky and Robertson likely to be the first ones back among this group since they are playing in either the UK or Ireland.De Zerbi will thus have his entire squad of players back by Thursday, two days out from his side’s trip to Old Trafford. Why Roberto De Zerbi’s starting eleven against Man United could have some surprisesMany of Tottenham’s international players will return after having played four matches across a two-and-a-half-week period. In addition, some of them, like Bentancur and Marmoush, will also have travel fatigue as a result of needing to fly in from Africa and Asia. One would not be surprised if De Zerbi’s starting eleven against Man United features a big dose of Spurs’ non-internationals, who have had the opportunity to train at Hotspur Way with the Italian and his staff over the last few weeks.Spurs fans will be hoping to see Maddison back in the starting line-up, with the attacking midfielder not having started a competitive match since May 2025.READ MORE: Chelsea and Man United join Tottenham in race for £87m Gianluca PrestianniThe post When Tottenham’s 15 internationals return to Hotspur Way for training appeared first on Spurs Web.
