Michael Kayode is one of the most sought-after players in the Premier League, and Brentford knows it may only be a matter of time before the right-back leaves the club.Kayode is regarded as one of the best players in his position in England. He has also performed well for the Italian national team during this international window, which has encouraged even more clubs to take an interest.Arsenal is one of those clubs, as the Gunners consider bringing in a new right-back while potentially moving on from either Ben White or Jurrien Timber. Both players have regularly struggled with injuries, and Kayode could offer greater physical stability.Arsenal faces competitionKayode’s long throws could also become an important weapon for Arsenal in the Premier League. However, the Gunners are not alone in their pursuit of the defender.Caught Offside reports that Liverpool has entered the race for Kayode’s signature. The Reds believe he could become a better player than Jeremie Frimpong and are prepared to compete with Arsenal for his services.Liverpool has reportedly placed Kayode at the top of its watchlist, although the club’s interest remains at the monitoring stage. No official offer has been made, and no direct negotiations have begun.(Photo by Ryan Pierse/Getty Images)Kayode must choose carefullyArsenal will need to act quickly if it is serious about signing the right back. Kayode could be attracted by a move to the Emirates, where he would remain in London while joining one of the leading teams in Europe. However, Liverpool is also a major club with considerable history and prestige. A move to Anfield would offer Kayode the opportunity to continue his development while competing for major honours.Brentford is aware of the growing interest in its defender and will not want to lose an important player without receiving a substantial offer. Kayode’s performances for Italy could increase his value further and create an increasingly competitive transfer battle. The right back therefore has an important decision ahead of him. Arsenal may offer the benefit of staying in London, while Liverpool can present its own strong sporting appeal._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
