The civil aviation ministry requested Adani Airport Holdings Ltd to postpone the planned flight transition to Navi Mumbai. Airlines have opposed the proposed reduction of international flights to this new airport. Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha chaired a meeting to discuss the transition plan with various stakeholders. Subsequent discussions between airlines and Adani Airports are scheduled to take place on October 13 and October 20.
