I’m building a professional network for people who don’t want to become content creators

Why should being good at your job require being good at social media? I’m building myLongo around a different starting point: what have you done, what are you interested in, and where are you trying to go? The profile is the first part. Work and experience still matter, but I want someone to understand the person behind the title too. The bigger goal is introductions where there’s a reason for both people to want the conversation. Here’s a profile you can actually explore: https://mylongo.io/preview/profile-preview-4576 It’s a fictional design demo, so the career details aren’t a real member’s credentials. It shows the profile experience, not proof that the network is already producing great relationships. I’m building from Johannesburg, with a global product in mind. The belief is simple: the right people shouldn’t have to meet by accident. What would you need to know about someone before an introduction felt useful rather than another networking chore? submitted by /u/Flat-Living8750 [link] [comments]
