Sabby Racing's Mo Chuisle (f, 2, Omaha Beach–Charmeer, by Candy Ride {Arg}), an $825,000 OBS April purchase, held Vino Vino Vino (Vino Rosso) safe to the wire to graduate on debut at Santa Anita Sunday. The dark bay filly, sent off the 2-1 favorite, was unhurried and settled off the pace while in the clear behind a quarter in :22.28. She rushed up to take the lead out of the turn without being asked and she quickly opened a clear advantage as the half went up in :45.72 and was in front by as much as four lengths in upper stretch. Vino Vino Vino tried in vain to reel her in late, but came up 1 1/2 lengths short at the wire. The time for the six furlongs was 1:12.24.Mo Chuisle was purchased by Jesse Hoppel for $130,000 at last year's Fasig-Tipton October sale and worked a quarter-mile in :20 3/5 at OBS in April.
