I’m doing some research on how serious unauthorized redistribution is for people who sell 3D-printable files. I’m especially interested in real experiences: files reposted elsewhere; files resold by third parties; customers sharing paid files; loss of sales; takedown work; deciding not to release certain models because of piracy. I’m not selling anything here. I’m trying to understand how common the problem really is and what creators currently do about it.
