The role We’re looking for a freelance designer to become a consistent creative collaborator with our small team. The work will primarily focus on social media content development and web design, helping us translate Symbiome’s products, science and point of view into compelling visual communication. We’re specifically looking for someone with a strong visual creative eye and experience in beauty, skincare, fashion, wellness or adjacent luxury brands. This is primarily taste, composition, typography, image selection and the ability to develop strong visual ideas matter to us. Typical work may include: • Social media concepts, carousels and campaign content • Visual concept development for social media • Website and e-commerce updates and development • Product storytelling and launch assets • Working with existing photography, video and brand assets • Helping evolve how Symbiome expresses itself visually across digital channels What we’re looking for A strong portfolio is more important than a specific number of years of experience. Beauty experience is strongly preferred. You should have excellent typography and layout skills, a sophisticated understanding of contemporary beauty and luxury design, and be comfortable working independently with a small team. Experience with motion, video, photography, retouching, e-commerce or AI creative tools is a plus, but not required. Engagement Remote only. Freelance / ongoing. Consistent work for the right person. Flexible schedule, with good communication and reliable turnaround expected. Rate: $60–$120 USD/hour, depending on experience, portfolio and capabilities.
