I am strongly considering moving to STL for my retirement years. I have seen a high rise condo community on Coeur de Royale near Barnes-Jewish that looks appealing. The downside is that I am not sure how much longer I want to be driving (or maybe I should buy a Tesla that will do the driving for me). Is there a walkable area that you would recommend for retirees, or is that a fantasy? I have to think of safety.
