I built Lullula to read webpages, PDFs and ebooks aloud in your browser

Wait 5 sec.

Hey everyone — I’m building Lullula, a read-aloud extension for Chrome, Firefox and Edge. The idea is simple: open something you already want to read, press play, and listen. It works with webpages, Google Docs, PDFs and DRM-free EPUBs. Here’s a demo of how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_xZnILThiQ I’ve been focusing on the parts that make longer listening sessions easier: Finding the main article text so playback starts in the right place. Highlighting the current sentence and letting you jump between sentences. Remembering where you stopped, with a free account. You can listen for free using your browser’s built-in voices, without an account. Premium neural voices are available through paid plans, with a limited free allowance to try them. It’s a desktop browser extension, so that’s the experience I’m sharing here. You can try it at https://lullula.io/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=listening-layer-launch-q4-2026&utm_content=maker-demo&cid=reddit-20261006-01 If you already use a read-aloud tool, what’s the one frustration you wish it would fix? I’d also love to hear how Lullula handles an article or document you actually wanted to read. submitted by /u/No-Supermarket-8803 [link] [comments]
