There’s a moment on every Disney day when you realize you’re thirsty, and you’re standing in line for a drink you’ve already stopped pricing in your head. That moment is about to cost a little more. Walt Disney World has raised dining prices at nearly every location, and beverages are right in the middle of the increase.Credit: DisneyFountain drinks, coffee, and even a few specialty sips are all up. Here’s the full breakdown of what changed, how much more you’ll pay, and some ways to keep a thirsty family from draining your vacation budget. The Drink Price Changes at a GlanceCredit: DisneyStart with the basics. Fountain drinks are up across the property, going from $4.79 to $4.99. That’s a 20 cent bump, or about 4 percent, which sounds small until you remember how many drinks a day a hot, walking family can go through.Coffee took a bigger hit. It jumps from $4.29 to $4.99, an increase of 70 cents, which works out to more than 16 percent. Of the beverages on the list, coffee has the sharpest rise by a good margin.A Few Specialty Sips Moved TooCredit: DisneySome pricier drinks went up as well. At Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom, a Grande Caramel Macchiato goes from $6.25 to $6.45. That’s another 20 cents, about 3 percent.Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Frozen Fanta Blue Raspberry Slushy at FØØD by Swedish Chef rises from $16.50 to $18. That’s a $1.50 increase, or about 9 percent, and it puts a slushy firmly in meal-price territory. How the Small Increases Add UpCredit: ITMA few cents here and there can feel like nothing, but drinks are the kind of purchase you repeat all day. As a rough illustration, a family of four ordering four fountain drinks at a meal pays about 80 cents more than before. Across ten quick service meals on a five day trip, that’s roughly $8 extra for fountain drinks alone.Coffee adds up faster. Two adults grabbing one coffee each morning for a week would pay about $9.80 more than they would have yesterday. These are simple examples, and your own habits will change the math, but they show how a handful of small increases can quietly add up.Food Prices Rose TooBeverages aren’t the only thing getting pricier. Quick service increases at Walt Disney World mostly run between 50 cents and $1 per item. At Magic Kingdom, Casey’s Corner Chipotle Barbecue Pork and Street Corn Mini Corn Dogs went from $10.99 to $13.49, and the Beer-battered Fish Platter at Columbia Harbour House rose from $13.99 to $14.99.Over at EPCOT, Yorkshire County Fish Shop’s Beer-battered Fish and Chips climbed from $14.49 to $15.49. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters went from $13.99 to $14.99. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Pizzafari’s Cheese Pizza rose from $11.29 to $12.49, and at Contempo Cafe, the Roast Beef Sub moved from $13.99 to $14.99.A family of four ordering entrees and drinks could pay several dollars extra per meal compared to just a day before.Tickets Are Climbing TooCredit: DisneyAdmission prices are rising as well, which makes the food and drink increases feel even heavier. Disney has revealed new ticket prices for November and December 2027, and several parks will hit new peaks. Magic Kingdom and EPCOT will reach $229 for a one day ticket on the most expensive dates, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reach $214, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will reach $189.The headline number is the regular one day Park Hopper, which will hit $301 including taxes on the priciest date. Per day costs drop on longer tickets, so a weeklong trip doesn’t mean $301 for every day, but crossing $300 is still a milestone. Disney has also raised prices across all four Annual Pass tiers.Ways to Keep Your Drink Budget in CheckYou don’t have to give up refreshments to stay on budget. A reusable water bottle is a smart place to start, and filling it for free at water fountains can cut down on beverage purchases. Quick service counters have also historically offered cups of ice water at no charge, so ask about that and confirm it when you’re there. If you love coffee, consider making your first cup at your resort room or hotel lobby if one is available, and save the park coffee for a special treat. Sharing a large drink between two people can also stretch your money. Finally, budget your drinks as part of your meal plan before you go, so the totals don’t surprise you at the register. It comes down to this: a Disney vacation costs more than it used to, and small items like drinks are part of the story. Planning for them ahead of time can make the difference between a stress-free trip and a sticker shock one.Have you noticed the new drink prices on a recent visit?
