A North Texas mother of two is behind bars on Tuesday morning after police say she turned a knife on her husband and her own young children in the dark, hours before sunrise.Northlake police were dispatched at about 4:20 a.m. Tuesday to a home in the 1200 block of Daylily Drive, in the Canyon Falls area east of I-35W, after a man called 911 and reported that his wife had a knife and had stabbed him, according to NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth.Officers were on scene within minutes and detained 37-year-old Holly Leeann Flores. What they found inside the house was worse.A 34-year-old man, the caller, identified by police and local outlets as Flores’s husband, had been stabbed in the head.A 3-year-old girl and a 10-month-old boy were found with stab wounds to the chest. All three were rushed to a Fort Worth hospital.NBC 5 reported that police believe Flores is the mother of the two children. The same outlet said investigators could not immediately confirm whether the injured man is the children’s father.Northlake Police Chief Robert Crawford said he believed the children would survive their injuries, NBC 5 reported. No formal condition update had been released as of Tuesday morning. Motive has not been disclosed.Flores was also hurt. She was taken to a Denton hospital for observation, treated and released, then booked into the Denton County Jail. Preliminary charges: two counts of attempted capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth. This was not the first time police had been to that address. Chief Crawford told NBC 5 officers had been called to the home about five times since March, mostly for welfare concerns. He said the calls came from the residence itself, not from neighbors. He did not elaborate. The Northlake attack lands in the middle of a grim run of Texas cases in which authorities say a parent turned on their own children. The Gateway Pundit reported last week that 42-year-old Colleen Nichole Lemmon was charged with two counts of capital murder after Ellis County deputies say she shot and killed both of her sons — ages 21 and 15 — inside their Waxahachie home in the pre-dawn hours of October 1.Deputies were dispatched at about 4:13 a.m. The older son was pronounced dead at the scene. The 15-year-old died at the hospital. Lemmon was booked on a $2.5 million bond.Days earlier, The Gateway Pundit reported on a west Houston case in which police say a mother shot and killed her 4-year-old daughter inside a Memorial-area townhome after a custody hearing, then shot herself in the face. The child was found dead. The mother was expected to survive. The post Texas Mother Charged with Attempted Capital Murder After Allegedly Stabbing Husband and Two Babies — 3-Year-Old and 10-Month-Old Found with Chest Wounds appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
