Hi everyone! I’m an RN with a background as an RPN, and I’m looking to start a tutoring business supporting nursing students and people preparing for the NCLEX. I’d like to offer one-on-one online sessions covering nursing content, practice question rationales, test-taking strategies, and personalized study plans. Has anyone here done something similar? I’d love to hear about your experience, especially: How did you find your first students? How did you decide what to charge? What resources or platforms do you use? How much preparation do you do before each session? Is there anything you wish you’d known before starting? I enjoy helping students understand the material and build confidence, but I’d appreciate advice on the business side and making it sustainable.
