Yeah, the US isn’t great at providing free childcare for pre school, which is awful. Germany provides free daycare so it’s even more outrageous. I just don’t understand the logic of sending a 4 year old to private school when you can save that money w/ free daycare and then you may have money to pay for private elementary or junior high bc they say it’s only temporary. It is wild that they think strangers will somehow “sponsor” a kid just because.
