Four people were rescued after a boat capsized near St Paul’s Islands in a coordinated operation involving the Civil Protection Department and the Armed Forces of Malta.Civil Protection Malta said rescuers from Station 5 were dispatched following reports of a capsized vessel in the Selmun area.All four people were successfully located and brought aboard the CPD’s RHIB Delta 2 rescue vessel before being transported safely back to shore.One person was taken to hospital for further medical assessment, while the remaining three were treated at the scene and discharged.The Civil Protection Department thanked the Armed Forces of Malta, the Malta Police Force and Mater Dei Hospital’s Emergency Department for their assistance during the operation.The cause of the incident has not yet been disclosed.•
