Government departments are forming Quick Response Teams to address social media misinformation. These teams will monitor and respond to fake and misleading content promptly. Power, agriculture, and commerce departments have already established their dedicated response units. Responses are ideally expected within two hours of content identification. Such teams will coordinate with the PIB fact check unit for verification.
