A passenger fired a weapon during a Varanasi airport security check on Sunday. This incident occurred while he was travelling with his wife on flight IX-1810. Two AAICLAS screeners sustained injuries during the weapons check at the airport. Both injured screeners received immediate medical treatment at New Laxmi Trauma Centre. Local police have been informed and an investigation into the incident is now underway.
