Kotak Mahindra Bank has been ordered to pay Rs 1.5 lakh in compensation after the Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission found it raised a demand of Rs 19,788 against a customer who had already cleared all 12 EMIs totalling nearly Rs 45,000 for a Samsung TV purchase, and then threatened to damage his CIBIL score when he refused to pay.
