Customers who agree to link their accounts can checkassets, order status, deposit and withdrawal history, mutual fund informationand selected Monex analysis tools without opening the broker’s website ormobile app.On ChatGPT, theservice is offered as a plugin that Monex said had passed OpenAI’s review andapproval. It is also available on Claude as a custom connector.Monex Securities saidthe service is the first of its kind among major Japanese securities companies.The company defines the group as the five largest full-service brokers and fivemajor online securities firms.Service Focuses on Account Information,Not TradingThe launch follows asimilar initiative by Monex Group’s US subsidiary, TradeStation Securities,which connected securities accounts to an AI platform through MCP in January.Monex said it views AIas a new interface between customers and financial services rather than only asan operational tool.
