Bharat Jodo youth wing registration drive held in Mysuru - The HinduPublished - August 19, 2026 07:10 pm IST - MYSURUA membership registration drive for the Bharat Jodo Yuva Sangha (BJYS) was held on Wednesday at the Government First Grade College in Siddhartha Layout, near Kurubarahalli Circle, under the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports’ “Yuva Shakti, Rashtra Shakti” initiative.Addressing the gathering, Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner M.K. Savitha urged youngsters to actively participate in initiatives related to cleanliness, environmental protection, health and wellness, culture, social harmony, skill development and youth empowerment.She said the youth should work in accordance with the ideals of the Constitution and actively participate in government programmes aimed at community development. She also called upon them to create awareness about child marriage, take measures to address malnutrition among children and organise blood donation camps to contribute to a progressive and harmonious society.Savitha explained the procedure for forming youth associations under the programme and urged youngsters aged between 16 and 35 to register through the BJYS portal or mobile application by scanning the QR code.
