The card shown during D23 identifies the character as Figment – Creative Inspiration, creating a new Lorcana interpretation of one of EPCOT’s most recognizable original characters.That distinction matters because Lorcana’s characters are known as “glimmers”—versions of Disney characters created within the game’s magical setting. The D23 announcement therefore expands Figment into Lorcana rather than confirming a wholesale redesign of the character throughout Walt Disney World.It is nevertheless a notable expansion for a character whose identity has remained closely tied to EPCOT.
