A customer at a Popeyes restaurant recorded an argument with a manager after he said his order was missing several items, including a two-piece blueberry pie. The video was posted to TikTok by user Ojani Moncrieffe and has been viewed 376,000 times. In the video, Moncrieffe asks an off-screen manager, “Where’s the rest of my order?” He lists what he says was missing, including a chicken tender, a biscuit, fries, a side of slaw, and the blueberry pie. He points to his receipt and says, “You see right here where it says a 2-piece blueberry pie? That’s, that’s, that’s not in my bag.” The manager, heard off-camera, responds, “Complete.” Moncrieffe reacts with disbelief and asks him to explain what he means. Manager asks for customer’s name instead of addressing the missing items As the exchange continues, the manager asks Moncrieffe for his name instead of responding directly to the complaint. Moncrieffe replies that he had already given his name, O’Johnny, when he placed the order and was handed a bag at that time. @officialojanimoncrieffe #OjaniMoncrieffe #FYP ♬ original sound – Ojani Moncrieffe The manager then tells him, “This one, I’m not completely-” before Moncrieffe cuts him off. Moncrieffe says, “Yeah, but you, you’re telling me that you didn’t complete my food after I checked my bag and I didn’t see my pies in there. So where my pies at?” The manager responds, “I’m sorry, my sir, sorry.” Moncrieffe then accuses the manager of speaking to him as if he is “crazy.” The manager replies, “You’re talking to me like I’m crazy.” Moncrieffe answers, “Yeah, you are the f–k. I know what’s on my receipt. I’m telling you, it’s not in my bag.” The manager apologizes again, saying, “I’m sorry again,” to which Moncrieffe replies, “Thank you.” As the video ends, Moncrieffe can be heard saying, “I don’t care how you looking at me. The f–k?” For Popeyes, the complaints don’t stop at incorrect orders, as a Houston man allegedly found a used condom baked into his fried chicken. On-screen text in the video reads, “POV: You order food at Popeyes, check the bag, and the manager tries to change the story because of a mistake he made.” It is not shown whether Moncrieffe ultimately received the missing items. In the fast food industry, such disputes go beyond order errors, as a chicken restaurant worker says a customer starts fights every day. Complaints about incorrect orders at Popeyes locations have been reported by multiple customers over time, according to MSN. Some customers have said items such as sauces, sides, and chicken pieces have been left out of their orders. Others have said they received the wrong cuts of meat or side items that did not match what they ordered. Customer service at Popeyes locations has also been a frequent complaint. Some customers have described employees as unpleasant or rude, including in situations where an order was found to be incorrect. One Reddit user wrote that employees “give no F***s,” adding that mistakes do not seem to affect how staff respond to complaints.
