These two teams will play against each other in Serie B this term, but expect Pisa to get their campaign off to a flyer.Sassuolo have a solid head-to-head record against Cesena, winning six of their nine fixtures, losing just once. Ironically, that defeat came in the Coppa Italia back in 2017. The Serie A outfit will have too much firepower for Cesena in the end though.Cremonese have won two of the last five meetings against Sampdoria and haven’t lost to them since October 2022.Sampdoria won just one of their last four Serie B fixtures to end the 2025/26 campaign, while Cremonese suffered relegation from the top-flight. The home side will be determined to start the season off brightly, however, so expect a home victory.Palermo haven’t suffered defeat to Lecce since 2006, winning five of the eight meetings since then.The home side enjoyed a solid pre-season and pushed Juventus all the way during a 2-0 defeat recently.
