CADJPY: Could we see price continue to the downside?CAD/JPYOANDA:CADJPYSamiraa_There is one thing that can easily make traders feel confident about CADJPY right now: the rebound has been sharp, bullish candles are coming in, and buyers look like they are back in control. But look a little closer. This move is heading straight into the descending trendline that has kept pressure on price for months. It is not just a line drawn on the chart. Each time price approaches this area, the market has to answer the same question: do buyers truly have enough strength to change the structure, or are they simply lifting price into a better area for sellers to step in? I am not rushing to sell before price gives a reason. I want to see CADJPY reach the trendline, attempt to push through, and then fail to hold—or print a clear rejection candle. That is where the story of this rebound could begin to change. If sellers regain control from this area, 114.500 is the first target I am watching. It is a reasonable place for price to revisit after the latest recovery. On the other hand, if CADJPY breaks above the trendline and holds there, the short idea should be put aside. Sometimes the best opportunity is not trying to call the top, but waiting for the market to reveal who is losing control. This is a personal market view, not financial advice.
