I can’t see a parent getting such a horse if it’s ill suited I've been riding horses for 30+ years and I've seen it more than once. They probably got it for her because it was cute and a good size for her, but they had no idea about temperament or ability or anything like that. Think of it like someone buying a German Shepherd puppy because they saw one in a movie - it looked so smart and obedient on the screen! But they don't realize that requires years of training. Some people just have more money than sense. Sadly, I do not share that problem. Grace (and her parent/s) need to be managed by an experienced trainer who can get a horse that fits Grace's actual abilities rather than her dreams. It reads like they threw money at it once with the Arabian horse (which didn't work out) so now they're trying to get a freebie (which is NEVER going to happen), all without consulting someone who actually works with horses. Which is wild, considering they apparently have access to "elite professional trainers" at this equine haven they're going to keep the new horse at.
