This organisation, The Lawrence Bishnoi Organised Crime Group, originated in the Punjab state of India and operated in the Central District of California and elsewhere,” the FBI statement said.“On July 1, 2026, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Kamal in the United States District Court, Central District of California, Los Angeles, California, after he was charged with Conspiracy to Interfere with Commerce by Extortion,” it added.Kamal has been charged with conspiracy to interfere with commerce by extortion, according to the federal agency.
