I know zero as well and have been learning a lot! I’m used to “livery” used in terms of planes. So it was interesting to learn it is also for the actual place the horse lives and stuff… wild these people own the horse are (or at least already pay for it given they have a horse there) and still want to have that cost covered with the free “loan” horse. A farrier does the horses hooves nice… I then looked into how much a farrier makes with ChatGPT (did search on Google but it still pops up) reporting that some independent business owners make low six figures, however those who work for others tend to make $36k.. obviously it’s highly variable… but how interesting of an occupation! I’ve got so many questions! At any rate, this is basically like me asking someone to “loan” me their exotic car to let my kid drive and some of her teenage friends… and expect someone to pay for the upkeep of the car, the storing of the car, the cleaning of the car, and of course the fuel. But with the added bonus of being a full on live animal who has feelings, fears, and can think. The audacity!
