A man who appeared in CCTV footage shared by Marsa Mayor Luke Farrugia has issued a public response, arguing that the focus should be on solving the area’s waste problems rather than publicly shaming him and his young son.The response comes after Farrugia published footage showing a child and an adult dumping rubbish in Triq is-Serkin, an area that has long been associated with illegal waste disposal.In a Facebook video, the man criticised the mayor for posting footage that included his seven-year-old son, saying the video led to online abuse directed at both of them.“You made fun of me and my son and caused people to insult a seven-year-old child,” he said.
