Zudio has been ordered to pay Rs 30,000 after a Karnataka consumer commission ruled that charging a customer Rs 10 for a carry bag amounts to unfair trade practice and violates the Sale of Goods Act, 1930. The commission also directed the retail chain to immediately stop charging for carry bags across all its stores.
