Ecurie des Monceaux celebrated yet another lucrative windfall at this year's Arqana August Yearling Sale when, early on during Monday's concluding session, Michel Zerolo of Oceanic Bloodstock signed for a Siyouni filly at €1.65 million.“She was bought on behalf of Peter Brant [of White Birch Farm],” Zerolo said of lot 177. “He has some of the family already, but you can never have too much of a good thing.”The Siyouni filly is out of the winning Dubawi mare Snowpark, a half-sister to two multiple top-level winners in Brant's familiar double green silks, namely the Prix du Jockey Club and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe hero Sottsass (Siyouni) and Sistercharlie (Myboycharlie), whose seven Grade I wins in the US included the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf. Snowpark is also a half-sister to the G2 Neom Turf Cup winner and G1 Japan Cup runner-up Shin Emperor (Siyouni).Lot 177 is the fourth seven-figure yearling sold by Monceaux at this year's sale, with the others including the Frankel colt out of Philomene (Dubawi) bought by Godolphin for €1.7 million on Sunday. The post Monceaux’s Siyouni Filly Kicks Off Monday at Arqana with €1.65m Sale to Peter Brant appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
